Ballerina Stakes - Intangaroo

California-based multiple Grade 1 winner Intangaroo rallied six wide, seized command near midstretch, and posted a 2 3/4-length win in the $239,333 Ballerina Stakes on Sunday. Intangeroo’s victory gave jockey Alonso Quinonez and trainer Gary Sherlock their first career wins at Saratoga Race Course. The win earned Intangaroo an automatic starting spot in the Sentient Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint on October 24 at Santa Anita Park.

Intangaroo entered off a fourth-place finish on Hollywood Park’s Cushion Track surface in the A Gleam Handicap on June 28. The Orientate filly earned her fifth win in 13 starts and increased her earnings to $623,231.

Bred in Kentucky by Pollock Farms and Taylor Made Farm, Intangaroo is one of two winners from as many starters out of multiple stakes winner Tasso’s Magic Roo, by Tasso.
